Had everything I needed so that was good definitely going back

The barrel for my d-lock on my bike went and the key snapped off and I was nearby. I popped in on the off chance to see if there was a tool to buy to cut it off, they didn't have a specific tool but they lent me a hacksaw to try and cut it off. It's a really good lock, so not surprised it didnt work. I would recommend these guys because they tried to help when there was no gain for them, very friendly and I will definelty be going back next time I need a product they sell. They are a builders' merchant with a wide range of products, including building materials, tools, and hardware. Having had an issue with my washing machine, I recently needed to urgently buy a drain hose extension kit and a connector. I went to Shefford Building Supplies and spoke to two staff members. They were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. In fact, they saved my day as unfortunately I was left to my own devices, thus being unable to do any washing up and/or laundry. I was very happy and impressed with the service I received and would definitely recommend Shefford Building Supplies to anyone else. First time i have used this little gem of a shop with easy parking outside and friendly nice staff ,i needed some bits as well as some keys cut and its great.Nice for me is its a 5 minute drive to get there and cant believe how many things they sell instore .I thought there prices are fair for a local shop saves all the hassle of driving further away into a retail park .Highly recommend this Lovely hardware shop for many of ones needs.

I will never go in this shop again, I am extremely disappointed especially after my friend told me how helpful they are. The lack of enthusiasm to help me and also mock me for not knowing what I needed, I felt like I was being hurried out of the door. Ended up leaving with 2m of cable that I felt obliged to buy as he had already cut it before waiting for me to say how much I wanted or even wanted it. All in all a horrible experience

What a lucky find. This is a great hardware shop. They have got everything that you could need for jobs around the house. The staff in the shop are very helpful. I will happily support this business. Its how shops used to be.
