Run by a wonderful team who put great care into the food, drinks and service. Breakfasts made with local produce, homemade cakes and a huge range of vegan, dairy free and gluten free options. The best place for a breakfast, brunch or tea. Updated 31/05/23 Still the best place in Shefford. Great lunch for kids and a choice of favourites for adults. We're very lucky to have them in the town

Don’t forget to book in advance!! This very popular, authentic cafe has a great warm atmosphere and tasty food to go with it. Would definitely recommend.

12/02/2022 - came today under a valentines booked treat by my hubby, the cafe was packed as always and the girls serving were super efficient! We both had the Jammie dodger hot chocolate which is a whopper on its own, but you can't go to rosebuds without getting cake so we had generous slices of the white chocolate & raspberry and cookies & cream cake! DELISH doesn't cut it!! Thank you ❤️❤️ Beautiful cafe! Greeted, asked to sign in via the NHS app. Taken to our seats and shown the menu. Drinks came very quickly and the pot of tea for 1 was very generous, 3 cups! I had a raspberry lemonade which was very refreshing and sweet on a hot day. I had beans on toast which came out on the thickest slice of bread I've ever seen, it was delicious! The fry up as you can see was huge, the bacon and the cheesy hash brown was amazing. Cannot wait to go back and next time I'll have a milkshake with my breakfast because, why not! Also the cakes are brilliant too. Great prices. Lovely staff. Thank you

Always an absolute delight to visit here. We LOVE it! The food is always made to perfection and leaves you planning your next trip back. The hot chocolates are dreamy not to mention the cakes!! Yuuuum, thank you all for your hard work and dedication. Ive never seen this place with empty seats, always packed and the staff smiling. We are very lucky to have you all! 💕

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday. It had amazing atmosphere and a great menu. So much to choose from. The doorstop sandwich was huge and well filled. The toasted foccachia was amazing too. Also had the kinder bueno milkshake which was so tasty! Amazing value for money and a great cake selection for afterwards that you can take away. Highly recommend

A local gem. This place is often busy but never crowded. A great breakfast and cafe menu as well as standard coffee and tea. Where this place really shines is their mastery of sweets. On your way in check out the scrumptious display of cakes then head to your table to place your order. Other reviews have complained of a wait and I will say my servers have often apologized for my having to wait but I honestly have never noticed any wait at all. They are much faster than plenty of fast food places but perhaps this depends on what you order and how busy a time.

First rate food and staff. Enjoyed my mashed avocado on granary toast with thick cut bacon and fried egg. The breakfast was consumed with delight by my partner, it was the smaller of the two on the menu but nicely filling. Sausage was real not the mass produced fare served by some establishments. Huge pot of Yorkshire tea served in bone China cups. We will certainly be eager to return after this first visit. Oh and the home made cakes looked far too tempting 😂
