Charles Wilson was recommended by my parents who used them and were very happy, so glad we used them we’re so happy with the end result they done an immaculate job on our stairs (open plan so not easy!)/bedrooms and landing. Adam was very helpful in show room advising pros and cons of carpets we liked and which would be best for our home, quality service at a good price. Highly recommend.

Wanting a new carpet we thought we would try a local store which was C. Wilson's at Shefford, Beds. The salesperson could not have been more helpful. Measuring and fitting were first class. The carpet we chose looks immaculate, we couldn't be more pleased. Recommend CWC to any one.

The chap who came and fitted the carpet was polite and friendly and very fast and efficient at his job and to top it off they were £130 cheaper than the bigger stores for the same carpet and better quality underlay. We had carpet fitted in the whole of the dowstairs, stair case and landing. Charles Wilson Carpets were really helpful and patient while I looked through all the various shades of green to find the one that matched what was in my head :) They also explained the difference between different types of carpet so that I could choose what would best suit our needs. Fitters were friendly, cheerful and tidy. They even vacumed before they left. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service We have used Charles Wilson for many years. They are extremely professional and all their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have fitted carpets and hard flooring for us. The shop has an amazing selection of great products and they also have a van so you can view samples in your home.

We had a laminate floor laid in our study. It totally transformed the room. Very professional work, good quality materials and a really lovely team. Thank you!

I first had laminate put down in my lounge and hall and had all the skirting boards removed so I get no beading. I was not told I would need beading around my fireplace or by the cupboard at the front door. If I had known I could have had someone round to cut underneath the brick fireplace so the laminate could slip under it. The beading that was put on to start with did not lie flush with the fireplace and you could see below to the ground and even see the blue underlay. Three visits later they got someone round to sort it. Also half the lounge floor had to be lifted again because there were three wood planks with missing colour so had to be replaced and done again. Today, got my stairs and landing carpetted. All looked okay when the guy did it but I never spotted that they had lifted my three bedrooms carpets to put new door seals on and not put my bedroom carpets back neatly. They are overhanging and threads hanging out. They are taking their time sorting it and not getting someone back today so looks like I have to wait another week and another wasted day again. The whole job has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Having used John Lewis the first time round I can definately spot the difference in workmanship. Still waiting for a pack of laminate that I have paid for and despite all the visits they still have not given it to me. I gave them their deposit before work started and when the laminate was laid I immediately rang them to pay for it and what they did was take all the money out which was the carpet money as well and I still had not had it laid yet. No apology or nothing just it was a slip up on their behalf. Would I use them again, NO NEVER.
